DM 800 HD PVR Tuner M & G problems

Hi all
i been on this problem for a long long time now .. searched and followed many blogs and treats how to get it going but i have no luck .

expected the tuner to be faulty so ordered a new M tuner and also got the latest G tuner

still when flashing about 300 images everything work but never get to make the tuner appear in the settings always says empty .

tried from bootloadr 76 all the way up to 84b .but still no luck

is there anybody out there who can help me on this or have a driver for the tuner itself ..

Direcly you must send your dm to assistance in Lunen - Germany.
I had your problem whith my 8000, now all ok.

It was working All fine untill i done a auto update.

No images had accepted the tuner so far . Tried maybe 100 images and all works except tuner recognition

Well you can not do a update on clone images , any update will download origininal files and unpatch your image.

Sure you can transfer the tuner ko files again but this is just undoing what you did updating the image anyway so making it pointless. And in some cases there a bit more too get images to run on clones.

Just use patched images and forget updates.

So now your blaming a update on the tuner nolonger working even with patched images ?

If this is the case i suspect the tuner hardware itself.
