Denmark to get new sports channel

A new sports channel for Denmark, Kanal Sport, is expected to launch on the YouSee cable platform in March.
The channel, which will be included in YouSee’s digital service, will cover local sports that have not hitherto been televised. Live broadcasts will be produced in partnership with Danmarks Idræts-Forbund. Holger Kristiansen has been named as the channel’s managing director.
