Dead (Mini-usb) service port

Hi, Ive had my DM800se clone for some years now but ran into a problem with no ca found. When I attempted to flash thru the service port I found that the usb-mini-B had come off its contacts. After reconnecting it, Windows could not recognize the device. With several tries at putting a new mini-B in, I get the same indications and sometimes nothing at all.

Is there any other way to flash a image without going thru the service port, or is my box now worthless?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It looks that your other alternative is the old way of using the RS232 and LAN with Dreamup

Try the JapharFlasher, but you will still need to use the Service Port and Rj45,...

Which image did you loaded into the box ? Which Sim was it based ? As the temporary solution would be to get a sim compatible with the image loaded and then flash back the SSL/Image for your sim and put it back.

DM800se HD has no rs232 port
And the problem is not in the load but in the sevice port itself.
I will just have to find someone who is very good in circuit board repair to attach the usb-mini-B to the proper contacts so that it is recognized by my pc.
Thanks just the same.
