The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT ended the second quarter with 303,972 residential subscribers to its TV services, or 22.7% more a year earlier.
Although the majority opted for its IPTV offer, a growing number were receiving its recently launched DTH service.
T-HT also had 18,442 business subscribers to its TV services, or 23% more than a year earlier.
The telco had revenues of HRK3,883 million (€519.2 million) in the first six months of this year, down by 4% on H1 2010.
EBIT also fell, down by 4.9% to HRK1,004 million, though the net profit rose by 0.7% to HRK828 million.
Commenting on its IPTV operation MAXtv, which is one of the most successful in Central and Eastern Europe, T-HT said that its offers were focused on expanding the sports package and the introduction of a pay-per-view service with exclusive content.
