Croatian B.net sale completed

Telekom Austria has completed the acquisition of Croatia’s leading cable operator B.net through its local subsidiary Vipnet.
According to Limun, this follows approval of the €93 million deal, which was first announced this June, by the Croatian Agency for Market Competition Protection.
It adds that Adrian Jezina will remain the chairman of B.net’s management, while Mladen Pejkovic has been appointed chairman of its supervisory board.
Aside from being Croatia’s largest cable company, B.net also operates the DTH platform B.net Total TV in conjunction with Mid Europa Partners-backed Serbia Broadband (SBB).
Telekom Austria’s Vipnet is meanwhile the second larges mobile operator in Croatia.
