crashed solo.

basically the other day i wanted try Oscam(see in oscam chat) and since i installed it my box was unstable and tried to uninstall and remove the file.
but as the box keeds rebooting i decided to try and reflash it using bh209.
got a memory stick and when i insert it, it goes though the install procedure BUT the light goes red and not orange.
when setting up through the menus it says network not connected but can download the addons if i want.
any ideas or try and use another usb stick?

So the image boots then as you can download addons ?

Are you using DHCP if not switch to that and see if it reports the network is connected.

yes to the download addons
and have turned off DHCP.
dbedit can see the box but will send the files.
and when do a manual scan on 28e scans but no channels stored
but i'm sure the light is suppose to be orange and not red when installing software

Is the tuner set up correctly and do you have signal strength in sat finder ?

yes. its got me baffled

have tried to reinstall bh209 but the box just constantly keeps rebooting itself.

Corrupt image or possibly your running on an older bootloader.

no idea mate.
have installed bh179 now, and it seems to be ok (for) now.
its an original box with original file

Needs doing if you do not know.

1) Unzip the solo_cfe_2.0_usb.zip to USB stick. (There should be /vuplus/solo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin)

2) Insert USB stick into the USB port of solo and power on the box.

3) It takes just a few secs to update.

4) If solo's front led blinks continuously, restart box.

5) To proceed with image update, you should delete the cfe_cfe_auto.bin at /vuplus/solo in USB stick once bootloader update is finished.

its seems to be ok for now, just 1 of those things i guess, using mgcamd and cccam.
and noticed though, when i open the addon plugin download files, its empty, but other addons are ok.
was working ok until i installed oscam.
