For all of you which want to watch mkv movies on DM but does not have sound because ofthe DTS issue here we come, we can convert the DTS into AC3, this is not something new, i know, but this is how to do this on mac.
The process is done in two steps, fist step is to extract the DTS sound track and covert it to AC3 and second is to add the AC3 to the mkv file.
Because i cannot attach files here i will give a link to an archive which contain two mac apps which will be used to acomplish the desired DTS to AC3 sound conversion.

On my mac, entire process is taking 5 minutes extracting and converting the sound and adding the new AC3 sound to the original mkv with removing the DTS sound for saving space.
OK, let start
Download and extract the archive on your mac, inside the archive are tow apps, "DTS to AC3 convertor.app" and "Mkvtoolnix.app"
The "DTS to AC3 convertor.app" will be used to extract and convert to AC3 the sound and the "Mkvtoolnix.app" will be used to add the AC3 sound to mkv and remove the DTS to save space.
First of all you will need to drag the desired mkv file over the "DTS to AC3 convertor.app" this app will run in background without any progress indicator, the only thing you will see that first will appear on your desktop the dts file and after the ac3 file.
Don't worry, have patient and let the app finish it's job and at the end you will be asked what to do next, just click the "No leave it on my desktop" button.
When you have done the extraction and conversion you can proceed to the next step, open the "Mkvtoolnix.app" app and add first the desired mkv file on which to add the ac3 sound and then add the ac3 sound from desktop, uncheck the DTS channel and click "Start Muxing" button, you will find the new mkv file with the ac3 sound in same folder with the original one with (1) added in the name.
