Valencia chief Fernando Gomez has put Premiership clubs on alert after admitting David Villa and David Silva could be sold to save the club.
Liverpool are chasing Silva, while Chelsea are working hard on a deal for strike-ace Villa.
Gomez has made it clear that neither player is indispensible – especially if the future of the club as a whole comes into doubt.
“The fans know that we will do all we can to keep them here, but we cannot rule anything out because of our financial situation,” he said.
“We have to put the future of Valencia first.”
