Chello channels for Hungarian pay-DTT

Chello Central Europe has confirmed that its four flagship channels – Sport1, Sport2, Minimax and Spektrum – will launch on Antenna Hungária’s pay-DTT platform MinDig TV Extra in Hungary on October 1.
The channels, which are each already received in over 2.5 million homes, will be made in available in the platform’s family package.
Separately, Antenna Hungária has said that as part of the major changes taking place to its DTT operation, the guard interval for all three multiplexes will be altered from 1/8 to 1/4, resulting in a significant improvement in reception.
Furthermore, from October 1 RTL Klub will be made available in the 16:9 aspect ratio on the FTA service MinDig TV.
