CCcam Technomate 5402 M3 - Newbie questions!

Hi there,

Got my 5402 yesterday and have been playing around with it since.

I am trying to set up CCcam, but all the links for the addons I have found are dead. I have all the server/login details that I need... but not sure about how I input those into my box?

Would anyone please be able to point me in the right direction for what I need to set up CCcam properly?

M3 model has no need of addon. Press 8281 on your remote.

Ah I see, so that's where I was going wrong!

When I input my server details, and press "connect"... nothing happens and it stays "disconnected" but in green text. Does this mean the settings I have input are incorrect?

If internet connection is ok, youtube for example, then something is wrong with the settins you input.

Yes Youtube is working fine. I would post a screenshot of the settings I have input and post the details I have been given - but is that against forum rules?

Thanks, I've given this a try with 10 different port numbers... I still seem to just get a green "disconnected" message on each server.

maybe the server is off line ?????

you only need the port number for the server from the C: line

I have it working now, for most of the channels I want. The problem is, I have 34 different port numbers I need to enter, but it only seems to hold 25... is there any way of getting round this?

if your using newcamd or cccam i am pretty sure the max connections 25

CCcam/Newcamd Connection start at Line 0 and end at line 24 so 25 Max total of either combination

Another quick question on the TM-5402... do you know if I am able to schedule a specific channel to record at a specific time? Can only seem to record when I push the button at the moment.

I can't seem to get the EPG to come up either. Keeps coming up with the IPTV menu.
