Bulgarian heavyweights seek TV deal

Bulgaria’s leading pay-TV company has confirmed it is in negotiations with the Nova Broadcasting Group over the distribution of the channels Diema Sport and Trace Sports Stars.
If they are successfully completed today (February 27), then football fans will be able to watch the channels this weekend.
In a statement, Plamen Genchev, Bulsatcom’s executive director, said that there were many conflicting media reports on the results of the negotiations with Nova Broadcasting Group and he wanted to clarify that talks were still continuing.
He added that if the two parties failed to reach an agreement they would seek a solution immediately after the upcoming (Liberation Day) holiday.
