BT Vision tops 600,000 subs

BT Vision received just a line in the telco’s latest Q2 financial statements. BT said the customer base for its IPTV service had now reached “over 600,000” subscribers.
This compares with the previously announced first quarter figure of 575,000.
BT Vision, which combines a DTT tuner with over the top on demand content, is part of a wider broadband strategy that saw 141,000 broadband net additions on the quarter. The figure represents BT’s best ever quarter for net additions, at 59% of broadband net additions.
71,000 customers were added to the super fast broadband service BT Infinity, where the customer base now stands at over 600,000.
