Benny Salaets goes to UPC cablecom

Benny Salaets will join UPC Cablecom in Switzerland as director, content management, from January 1, 2013.
Salaets is currently VP content management at Telenet in Belgium, where he has worked for more than nine years.
He announced his move in his personal blog, which is only available in Dutch.
During his tenure at Telenet, Salaets and his team were responsible for building a strong analogue and digital channel portfolio.
As product manager television he was also responsible for the development of the user interface of Telenet’s digital offer as well as building the VOD offer with the cabler’s broadcast partners.
