Beginners question

Greetings all,

I currently have a DM800HD and so does my father.
My setup is as clean as possible and I like it this way.
The question is, how can I make a full copy of my box to my father's box?
I know that it is possible but as far as I could see no answers of forum about this question.

Please help if you can.

I use dflash plugin personally .Save your image to your hdd with it then go into your machine ,use a ftp programme and extract it out to your pc. and its all done.
When you have a backup make sure its at least 45mb because sometimes backups fail .Hope this helps

I thought you could do it via the web interface, as in the way you put a new image inside, but I will try as you say.

You probably can mate im not sure maybe someone else can answer that for you.
I find Dflash works well,its down to personal preference.

Make sure you do a FULL REBOOT straight after you have finished the backup or else it can screw up another backup if you decide to do a second backup for safe keeping
