A baseball player has become a web sensation after footage of him dramatically diving over a catcher to score was uploaded to YouTube.
Brian Kownacki of Fordham University was running towards the home plate in the clash with Iona College when it looked certain he would be caught out.
But a charging Kownacki dramatically leaped into the air and dived over the waiting catcher landing with a handstand on home plate.
Fordham overcame an early 9-1 deficit en route to a 12-9 win, but to be honest all anyone was talking about was the leaping player and not the final score.
