BabyTV Grows Reach in the Philippines

LONDON: Skycable in the Philippines has added FOX International Channels’ BabyTV to its platinum tier package, Metro Pack, ahead of making it available on the Kids Pack in early 2012.
BabyTV, which replaced Family Land, a channel previously available on Skycable’s Metro Pack, features 24 hours of content from educational experts. The channel’s content is also available to view on demand as part of Skycable’s broadband lineup on iWanTV. BabyTV is already available in the Philippines on Destiny Cable and Cable Boss. It is also available across Asia with Indovision, ASTRO, NOWtv, StarHub and Chungwa Telecom, among others. The channel has carriage on more than 400 affiliate platforms in 100 countries worldwide, airing in 17 languages.
Maya Talit, the affiliate sales and marketing director of BabyTV, said, “BabyTV has a wide presence with key affiliates in Asia and we continue to focus on building the brand in the region. We are extremely pleased to be able to bring BabyTV’s channel and contents to even more families in the Philippines with the country’s largest cable operator.”
