Austrian Ski Association sells international media rights

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has reacquired the Austrian Ski Association's (OSV) international media rights.

Though the duration of the agreement is not yet known, according to Sponsors.de the deal is worth between €7.5 million (US$10.1 million) to €8 million (US$10.8 million) per year.
Owing to the inclusion of media rights in Switzerland, something not included in the EBU's previous three-year agreement, the figures paid represent a significant increase in value.
During the 2008/9 to 2010/11 period the EBU was reportedly paying between €6 million (US$8.1 million) to €6.5 million (US$8.7 million) annually.
