access to usb via/over ethernet

Hi,

I have a external hdd, not accepted but my sim210 dreambox. RDI Image runnig fine. A simple usb 2gb flash is showing up in the media player menu on the tv. great !
But how do I see the usb flash on my pc. I can ftp my dreambox without problems. A router is connected to my pc and dreambox. But I can't see the usb flash on my pc. Have tried ftp total commander and DCC. I guess there is a thread or many with this topic ?

The location of your USB is /media/usb

Hello,

You want to access the usb stick while it is connected to your DM?
If you cannot find your usb device on your DM the best way to search for it is to connect on the DM through SSH or TELNET and execute the "mount" command without quotes.
Will display all mounted devices, after you will find the mountpoint for your stick you will be able to access it through FTP on your DM
