24Kitchen launches in Turkey
December 7, 2012 12.19 Europe/London By Robert Briel

24Kitchen will launch on Turkish platforms D-Smart and Teledunya on December 12, announced Fox International Channels (FIC).

24Kitchen is a new TV lifestyle brand entirely centered on food, which was originally developed by FIC and Dutch production company Jan Dekker Holding.

24Kitchen gives viewers access to around the clock food themed television programming showcasing healthy, easy to cook recipes and other food related content from well-known chefs and food critics.

Jesús Perezagua, president of FIC Europe and Africa commented: “24Kitchen is the first FIC channel fully dedicated to food and lifestyle in Europe. After successful launches in The Netherlands and Portugal, we are very pleased to introduce the brand in Turkey.”

Adam Theiler, SVP of Southeast Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia said: “FIC Turkey is pleased to be among the first countries worldwide to launch 24Kitchen together with our affiliate and advertising partners. 24Kitchen will deliver a new style of production and content to our viewers in a market that already enjoys one of the most sophisticated and healthy cuisines in the world. Our 10th channel brand in Turkey.”

In Turkey, the channel launches with series including: Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals, Home Cooking Made Easy with Lorraine Pascale, Delicious Miss Dahl, and Anthony Bourdain: The Layover.

Other series in the line-up include The Easy Meal, Rudolph’s Bakery, and The Taste of Travel from Dutch chef Rudolph van Veen.

The channel and its recipes will also be made accessible via social media platforms such as its website, mobile applications, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
