Same version im using, 2.7 on Blackhole, very slow to load links.

I don't think its a speed issue could even be server issues at their end.

I think it became very slow when they moved to letmewatchthis.
Very frustrating to wait for ever only to find the link is broken!

I find it varies for the time of day. Evenings and weekends are pretty much hopeless. Most daytimes it zips along no problems.

The various video playback streams also suffer at peak times too.

I also run XBMC (on a raspberry pi) and the 1channel plugin on that allows buffering - making stuff vaguely watchable.

Yup im a PI fan too and find the same.
