on nbl image! do i jsut delete them from ftp or do i need to telnet the box and send a command line to do it???

i am getting a 910 hd any day now and was wondering if it comes loaded with any soft? if i want to install for instance nlb8728 what do i do? just put on a usb stick and then from the menu load it? any help please.
