cant seem to connect the sat side on this box the cable side connected ok is the a setting on the box to switch from sat to cable ??

hello all ive got a hd combo amiko mini ive inputted my lines cable and sat ive got it setup on sat and cable the cable line is ok sat cannot get the line to connect is there something in the box ive got to switch between sat and cable
