Hooray! Switching off and reloading seemed to have done the trick. Long may it continue! You don’t sometimes think of the simple thing to do since I was convinced that my paws pressed an up or down arrow and therefore done something I shouldn’t have. Thanks so much everyone.

Will try the switch off etc. It will take a while as when I switch off, all channels disappear and I have to do a factory reset, with epg likely to disappear again. I wonder, if the unit is now sooooo old that it does things without my knowledge. Will be back later…….if nothing else crops up...

Hello, i have tried your advice. When I go into disk manager, it only shows that I am recording to usb but no folder or list of recordings show. It also wouldn’t accept me pressing anything. The only time on this machine it gives me a list of recordings is when I go directly into file list...

I record a lot of programs on the usb at the back of the receiver. Usually, the most recent program gets put to the top but yesterday I found that the whole file list has gone alphabetically. I don’t know if I pressed a button by mistake. Does anyone know how to reverse this? Thank you.

Wouldn’t have been a problem but had eye removed due to cancer and wasn’t allowed computer work. So instead of barking unknowingly, it could have been said a different way.

I have a technomate 5402 and use it to watch Astra 19.2 E German channels. It had a brilliant 7 day epg by day in column format. The other day it ended up with no information on the epg. I had to do a factory reset. Now I cannot find certain channels and the epg seems to just do now and next but...
