Hi,
I've read through this thread & some other & I just wanted to confirm a few things:
(1) For a biss key, there are 16 hex characters = 16^16 key possibilities = approx 18.4 billion billion possibilities (18,446,744,070,000,000,000) ?
(2) How many keys/second can a computer scan on average?
(3) Some have said it would take one person with one computer more than one year to find the keys on his own? this is correct?
(4) a ts file is a short recording of a biss-encoded transport stream? This allows you to search for keys even when the feed/channel is offline or even when your pc is not connected to satellite input?
(5) So you can search for keys on multiple PCs not just the one connected to the receiver? I have some spare Laptops I can use to search for keys only with ts file and cwfinder program?
(6) If I were to buy another pc for searching keys, is the processor speed the most important? Anyone have any recommendation?
(7) I wish to join the team now if it is possible to search keys without PCI satellite receiver, otherwise soon when I get new DVB-S2 PCI satellite receiver - maybe Technisat or Hauppage
