VLC Media Player is a good tool. and it works great.to burn used convertXtoDVD

I can´t play the files on VLC. Theuy justo give me sound (and not the real sound)

Our company release latest europe version software HDS2_CMT_20110302 for openbox s9 hd pvr(skybox, s9 hd pvr, hibox s9 hd pvr and so on) today---on March 3rd 2011.

It mainly improve the followings:

1. Add Greek language and so on

2. Optimize CCCAM and Cardsharing function

3. Optimize "reading card" function

4. Go on killing the clone receivers' job

Setup your receiver, quality is the same as d*m* hd.

Recently bought this box, living in Australia and the current firmware is HDS2-10-11-16:1136CMT. How do i findout if this the latest one? I have a rebooting issue on this box if i use the PVR function, esp recording manager.

I think you have wrong resolution coming out from the box.
Change it to 1080i.

These 2 last firmwares are killing even original "clones" openbox s9, i received mine yesterday, upgraded to the march firmware version, could use cardsharing, configure sats, channels, but when i tried to chance the background picture it has showed me

YOUR BOX IS CLONE VERSION!!!!

I have compared my box PCB with a original and a clone version and mine is same as original. I think this firmware is not working well choosing which boxes kill.

Now i'm waiting for a solution, i already have trying the recovery cable with lots of fw versions and nothing, no image.

What about a recording on S9? Is it works? I have tryed with external WD Passport 500GB hard drive, but receiver not recognise it. What HDD should be used?

Yes, recording worked for me using a usb external hard drive.
