I'm sorry Barney but I have to agree with eaglevision993.

With my Starsat 2000HD Hyper SW v2.39 I'm currently watching AFN on 9°E. I've had no need to upgrade to v2.40.

There is no LAN cable plugged in so definitely no IKS.
I've already mentioned what I had to do to get it to work - that was change the FEC from the default 3/4 to the correct 2/3. Re-scan the transponder, update the patch keys from Net Update (if necessary), reboot and wait perhaps for 15 minutes or more for the keys to AU.

what about Sony asiasat7 for a new emulator ... can it be released?

I'm sure if you can give the required code to fix the unknown hashmodes to emulator writers, they will release a new version.

By the way in working channels on 0.8w they did some changes on subs settings . If you test Discovery Showcase HD on Thor you will see that there are available subs for many languages but whatever you select non of them shows on the screen . On the other hand if you stream the same channel with vlc from your receiver to your pc subs play normal . This is tested in many receivers .

Hi...news for oscam for AFN (hash15) for vu+ solo4k?

Not working with OScam. I would not wait for an update It is really not an easy fix and was not fixed as yet . Oscam support seems gone.

Better get a receiver with strong powervu support instead.
AFN works fine with a small list of receivers starting at 50$.

Only installing new images from 3rd of september like openatv 6.2 and hdf fixes subs on powervu and other encryption systems on discovery channels on enigma2.

Starsat 2000 hyper and Skysat 2020 are working for years now....no one knows how long of course but they do their job well concerning power vu.

Autoroll is very fast and so far no new software was always needed for hash mode changes.

I have a Starsat 2000 Hyper right here and it opens AFN fine.
It did so yesterday at least with software V2.39.

I will check later this day and report wheather it works or not.
