have tried many different keys

Curious if there are guides on how to dump stream and calculate the keys? Have a bit of free time and looks like it would be a good checkmark in my achievements list Would anyone help or point in the right direction where to start?

I believe that is the problem in my case.

I have two different STBs:

• VU+ clone (E3HD clone)
• Closed software STB ("Alphabox X4 Mini")

On the VU+ clone I installed the latest Oscam Emu and good SoftCam.Keys

On "Alphabox X4" there are factory preinstalled softcam emulators, no web interface available, no FTP, no Telnet access. The user is restricted to editing SoftCam.Keys and constant.cw (can update the files from USB stick).

I have the same SoftCam.Key installed on both receivers.

However "Alphabox X4" is opening all PowerVu channels on Asiasat 7 @ 105.5° E (both Sony Pictures Networks India on 4180 V and Turner International Asia on 3960 H) while the VU+ receiver is opening only Sony Pictures Networks India on 4180 V (without stream relay).

Using stream relay on the VU+ receiver results in opening of all PowerVu channels on Asiasat 7 @ 105.5° E but the CPU is not fast enough for viewing HD channels unfortunately.

I don't think stream relay method is implemented in "Alphabox X4". This is a cheap STB ($40) and the CPU cannot be so fast as to decode HD channels with stream relay method.

But it does show all PowerVu HD channels with excellent quality using some secret built-in emulator.

Why the hell a more expensive VU+ clone with a faster CPU (like E3HD) is not able to decrypt properly some PowerVu channels using the latest Oscam Emu with DVB API method (without stream relay)?

And yes, both receivers are using the same SoftCam.Keys file.

I have Dreambox DM525 with oscam emu (r11279). PowerVu works ok, but after changing channel to other emu (SRG channel, Tandberg etc.) it does not work, and then only PowerVu channels work.
But there is no error in log:

Generally I have in oscam log for every emu channel:
(dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl(CA_SET_DESCR): Invalid argument
but channels work and switching between other systems does not cause this problem so I guess it's not a problem.

Only restart of receiver restore other channels to work (until switching to PV channel again)

What display setting is the best to watch afn channels (I use open pli image on vu+ duo2) ? The 720x480 afn channels dont fill the screen correctly. And another question: is it possible to record from powervu channels?

What happened with "afn sport" on 9E ?
No work for me with new key in DVB Dream.
