There are no nfi version files for the solo2 and the VU+ utils program is not compatible with the solo2 so no hope there.
You could try this which will upgrade the bootloader and maybe bring it back to life.

i read this all..and many boxes are death...i have to receive my box this week ...does anybody know what to do when i start up the box? (which image is timebomb free)

My clone is working fine BH 2.0.9.1 . I have come to know from some other forums . that only attack was created in Europe and thats why mostly the boxes have been targeted also cloud Iboxes there . I m from Asia Here i dont see any news in forums or other source . One of my friend who is shop keeper also says he dont have any complaint .This is just an information which i have collected my self during some days
My clone VU DUO X broken down as well I used BH 2.0.9.1 origional image and it got bricked I talked with the seller and the engeener thinks its the flash chip that got damaged because I used origional image they snd me the(( VU DUO BH 208 M720 ))image for this clone boxes and explain that I should never used the origional BH image.

Here is an Information for All
My seller's technical Adviser Says .. they are near to complete the procedure safe boxes next time from Attack
1. first of All the flash will be replaced with old image before date or Clone safe image
2. Then after that an UPDATE will be released As we had like " SOLO 2 UPDATE ". the boxes will be updated with it.
3. It will creat a small part in the Nand Flash . Which will be hidden portion next time when it will see that kind attack it will by pass it .
4. its also said . this update will not only save it from Attack but will also compute the value of attack to save it from activation from Live feed .
5. the only warning is not update on just install fresh copy of the image .
6. this SOLO UPDATE can be name with SOLO UPDATE 3 or SOLO SAVE 1 .
7. Next time All updates will be seen in this update Because it will save Flash never to dead completely .
This is the information I have found . If there is true something I wish it will be help full for all of us . 2nd I m sorry I dont have technical knowledge as u have . if u found something wrong plz dont mind .. I have just copied and pasted as i have found . This is just an small effort to help u all .. I really wish from the depth of my heart u peoples soon get fix it for this problem .
