Hi,

A complete noob question. How do I get my files in the mp3 or photo dir of the sat receiver?

When I use "ftp:\\192.168.1.220" in firefox, then I do get a connection. I can browse the sat receiver, but if I drag a file to that window then firefox starts playing the mp3 file?

I must be missing something really simple?

Thanks

ps: I use SifTeam 0.1.7-r8107 06.10.08

firefox ftp have limited capability.
you need to install FireFTP extension

better use flashfxp or total commander to upload your file
to your /media

I did not expect Firefox to have a half-ass FTP implementation.

I installed FireFTP for Firefox, and it now works.

Thanks

Open the File Explorer (as example by click on 'My Computer') and enter the ftp://192.168..... as described above then you can use the file system of your IP-Box like a network drive. Windows works different when you enter the address in Explorer, Internet Explorer or Firefox.

If the user ask for userid and password:

User: root
password: ipbox (for original image) or <nothing> for sifteam image
