Faulty box

Every time I flash an image it gives me the panic message, if I leave the box switched off for some hours then it will boot. Is this dodgy ram in the box ? it's driving me mad !

i've been getting the same problem. Transferring files from hdd to pc whilst recording messes the recorded files up too and can crash the box. Very buggy:(

My prob is no matter what image I load I have to leave it switched off for hrs and hrs before it works. It's crazy

maybe faulty tuner.
send it back to your dealer for repair
