Choosing a new satellite system

Hi, I`m a complete novice, can anyone help me select my first Sat system.
I dont need HD or to record programms.
A good quality reliable motorised system.

First question you need to ask yourself is, what channels you are looking to watch,eg. english,german, french etc..

Secondly and not least is the what budget do you have to spend on the equipment.

Thirdly, are there any restrications on how big dish you can have in your country?,in some countries like UK, local council only allow upto 1.0m antenna, pushing 1.2m in some areas. Oh not forgetting if you live in a rental accomendation, You need to ask your landlord for permission on how big dish you can fit.

I think if you can answer the above questions, i'm sure we can all advise you what is the best setup for you. :)
