Tavy 23-09-2008, 03:37 PM Yes, since yesterday I'm using a Samsung 2.5 160G SATA (not sata-2)HDD in an external enclosure and using SATA-ESATA cable and for the moment works OK. satclarke 24-09-2008, 05:22 PM I'm using a Medion 3.5 500GB, with a E-SATA cable, and everything works 100%. Greetz Satclarke TerD 28-10-2008, 02:20 PM I've a 9000D - no E-Sata output but E-Sata plug inside the box. My ext HDD gave me a few extra cables - could I just run the cable outside the Box to the Ext HDD? Aplogies if dumb question! TerD wirx 28-10-2008, 11:55 PM I use 2.5" Samsung 80gb with e-sata different adapters and hdd is powered via usb port. I installed the option USB plug in from Sifteam and when the 9000D boots with the external HD on it locks onto a single channel. The drive goes into some external activity. So I'm trying to find out whether this is a one off disk formatting process. Any help or suggestions much appreciated. TerD |
