Hi Guys - quick question.

Is there any technical explanation for using different softcams in Ct2000 and my Ct2100plus_USB?

The Plus file appears to be an upload from the stb whereas the normal file is an original text file.

I am using the normal file in both boxes O.K. but I wondered if there is some subtle difference, maybe in the CAIDS?

if you try to upload a normal softcam in the usb boxes by usb port the ctech doesn't read it...(but it reads it by serial port)..it's a bug on ctech plus boxes...the softcam for these boxes must be organized in slot...

You're right, I'm using the RS232 ports on both boxes since I keep them permenantly wired up to my pc.;)
