DreamUp 2.14b is for Dm7000 Only

For Dm500 you can use : DreamUp 2.41

You use dreamup for either putting an image on your unit for the first time or if your unit as crashed, but the new Gemini MaxVar images requires dreamup to install the image.

but I have put the gemini max var in flash using Flash Wizard Pro, and it seems to works well.

You can load the image but it won't function as maxvar if you load it that way, you'll just get the same thing as if you installed plain gemini image.

okay, thanks alot for answer. I read about this beforehand, but it is so much fuzz doing it the dreamup way. I have to move the DB to another room. I waish I had a lap top.

I used dreamup v1.3.3.2 and it cannot find ports. Hope this works!
