Thanks to kernel patch by pacco we can now have new kernel that doesnt have any network issues. No more dropped connections under high-load, and ethernet now works great for WEB-TV.
FTP Test on wireless there can run at 1200KB/S!!!!

****Known issues still to resolve
- EPG Still wont save to a database so only loads current transponder to memory
- USB H/D still quite unstable.
- Cli Web interface has issues with internet explorer PLEASE USE FIREFOX for web interface full functions
****We promise some of these are DGS issues and we need to wait on them fixing, but hopefully very soon

I'm thinking to try this image tonight.

From what I see its a 32MB so it should install direct over the Sif8107 that I'm currently using.
I hope the reverse should also be possible with a 32MB DGS image.
Please someone confirm this.

Regarding the plugins and emus are they all included or can we download and install them from web interface or directly from the box?

yup,,, its a noboot image so flashable over anything,
and same regards vice-versa,,, if you want to use DGS type image after you just need flash full noboot DGS image,

plugins are already included, mgcamd is installed, and newcs is already installed also. with configs in place for mbox/evo, with support for evocamd/mbox/mgcamd from web interface.
just need to ftp other emu binarys to /var/bin
mbox binary must be "mbox" and not "mbox.sh40" for web interface to control ok.

i thought i would give this image a try, however i have been unable to ftp in the keys. If try to send in var/keys and var/scce i get it can not create directory or with flshfxp it just comes up with a cross, if i enter the var directory i can then ftp them in (so they end up in var/var/keys etc). I have then tried to move them but it just say they can not be moved. I have now flashed back to a sifteam image and ftp the key files in no problem. Does anyone know where i am going wrong

flashfxp might not like the symbolic links,
/var/keys is a symbolic link to /usr/local/keys
and /var/scce is link to /usr/local/scce

try ftp to these folders direct, i get no similar problems with smartFTP or cuteFTP

thanks i understand the links, but if it were a problem with flashfxp, surely it would not work with a sifteam image. I also did try dcc and also got the same problem.
