you can install a 2.5" SATA HDD inside your DM800 using the connection cable provided with your dreambox. after that you need to mount your HDD in order to use it. another method is to have an external HDD, using eSATA cable or through USB.
/dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /media ext3 defaults 0 0 is for mounting through USB
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0 is for internal HDD

i am using an external device with eSATA cable, External HDD Cradle - model Fujitech FHC-2535E
