PANIC - on boot.

Thanks! Where do I give feedback on SifTeam releases?

I found an issue where the box will panic if the webif is active in any browser. Before sbox starts, the http server is started, any active client may then refresh and as a result will try to write to the pipe /dev/commander which has not yet been created, so instead a regular file is created.

This prevents sbox from starting as it cannot create the fifo /dev/commander. I spent a little while working this out - so for now I just have to make sure there is no active browser clients having a session with the box.

Maybe this is a known issue and I apologise if it is documented elsewhere but I'm (very) slowly getting to grips with this thing and finding stuff is not easy....

Booting forever

I have just tried to download this firmware to my ip box 8000. It said done after uploading but when i rebooted the device it wont come any futher than booting in the display.. Can any one pls help me??

You have to install it over a basic cuberevo image not an Abcom image, or sifteam image.

PCB Verision VE


I have tried to upgrade with version :
AB_9000HD_070808_r7932_usb_all_noboot.zip

I´m using Flashtool 1.0.2 to upgrade but when it rebootes forever. Just like with this image..

First install ABCom 9000HD image based on SVN 7932 =07-08-08 release=

shit sake il be sitting here 2 hours if i went thru all that,

FLASH WITH FULL 33mB noboot OFFICAL DGS image
then you can flash any NLB or SIF team image you want,, 22mb or 33mb,, !!!!

read this over and over each day and dont understand why people would want to go flashing with NLB image every time after already flash official image,, just make sure its official DGS image and not offical ABCOM image!

I have big problem with my box (stil have).H/W clock don't work.
After many time and many image, I find that is
the clear flash at my previous post solve any s/w problem.
This way I use only if I have problem.
When I don't have any problem and I wish use new image,
don't need install all.
Only last (example Sifteam 0.1.5 based on r8022 for CubeRevo).

PS. Use flash from ftp (telnet).It's faster than USB.

Problem is on Every image,, clock forget when cold reboot

Ok!
But If shutdown box You have clock on dislay?
Are You have clock if You stand-by box?

I don't have clock.
In first case I have clock but clock stop.
(examle "14:05.")
Clock stop and point at end of display not flashing.!!!!
In second case a have nothnig, blank display, but after one
minute I have only one digit ("6.") Random number.

I think, this is h/w trouble, not image.:mecry:

Now after i had uploadet the 3 different images that Ddoki said and a few rebootes my ipbox is now working. The only problem that i now had is that i have no epg

Wont work for me

EPG is a DGS/Abcom problem thats desperately needing fixed,, but dont worry i have great confidence it will be soon
