Oberursel/Taunus, 11. August 2008 – Ab sofort stellt HUMAX für seinen HDTV Digitalrekorder iCord HD ein umfangreiches Software-Update zur Verfügung. Das Update bereichert den Festplattenreceiver für Satellitenempfang um zwei attraktive Features und kann per automatischer Update-Funktion oder individuell mit einem USB Stick ganz einfach installiert werden. Die beständige Weiterentwicklung an der technologischen Plattform iCord HD ist ein wesentliches Qualitätsmerkmal und ein erneuter Beweis für die Innovationskraft und Kreativität des Unternehmens.

Mit der ersten neuen Funktion wird die vorgesehene Netzwerkschnittstelle des Digitalrekorders aktiviert. Somit ist eine direkte Verbindung vom und zum PC möglich. Per FTP können Bilder und MP3-Dateien ganz einfach und schnell auf die bereits integrierte Festplatte des iCord HD übertragen und am Fernseher im Wohnzimmer in optimaler digitaler Qualität wiedergegeben werden.
