Sky Digital (uk) card???

You need a CAM that can emulate the Sky Videoguard encryption - I am not totally up to date on which cams can do this but certainly the "Dragon CAM" or "TREX" cards used to be able to decode using a valid Sky card. The only proviso is that the card needs to be put back in an official sky box once a month so it is updated/refreshed as the cams can't handle that. Hope this helps.

Which model do you have? And which firmware?

Hi Ive got a vantage hd 6000
im trying to get my free to view sky car to work in the vantage intrnal card reader, is this possible?
my firmware version is 02.44.01T-O

As stated already, you need a CAM that can handle Videoguard as used by Sky. Even if you have a CAM that can do boith Seca and Irdeto does not mean it can also do Videoguard. The Dragon/T-Rex CAMS do.

Hi, have the same box and same problem, Vantage_011802.hdp which is an old fw does read a sly *** card.

My guess is that you need the patched firmware.
I don't have a Sky-card but I have Viasat (***) and that card only works with the patched firmware - not the original.

I have the X221TS with the patched firmware installed and can confirm that my sky card has worked ok up until the last upgrade when it developed a bug, but as it has dtt built in im not the concerned anymore just for FiveUSA and Fiver.
