Hello
Can sombudy explane why my dm800C is not able to open the HDTV chanels?

If you're in USA, most cable systems convert the over-the-air signal to a system called c-quam. Uses different encoding and allows cable company to compress the signals further. You can convert to a signal acceptable to your TV, but be aware that many cable systems are in the process of blocking reception of HD signals without the use of a rented cable box. Equipment is slow to arrive but some areas are almost completely blocked.

And the compressed signals leave the picture, shall I say, less than optimum. In other words, they suck.
