Wich Hardrive ?

samsung,ibm,seagate works fine....

i'm useing ibm-hitachi hddtemp 42*C...but last week i change the fun fit a small one litte shorter than the factory fit...hddtemp 37*C it was....

cos factory fit fan when you install the hdd ...

hdd will cover the fan from the top maybe 1.5cm like this hddtmp was 42*C and 46*C

but when i install a short one hddtemp went realy down...

Seagate 160GB it work ok for me!The hddtemp 48-50*C

I use HDD Western Digital 5000AACS and replace fan to Noctua NF-R8-1800

Seagate 500G works fine, no problems!

Can a samsung spinpoint 750gb 32mb cache be installed regards Pippatron.

got a samsung HD252KJ 250GB sata in it
firts temp was real high ( 59C )
so modifyed the fan now got it stable at 35C

Yes and that is very important more cash size is better faster. Let's say you always you will be faster on reading files for 32 megabytes comparing to other drive that it doesent have cache at all always same time you will extend the life of your hardrive.
