I have installed in my new box abipbox9000 a 500GB hard disk with a second tuner DVB-T, but when I switch to DVB-T channel the image slow down and jumping, this happens with TIME SHIFT hdd option enabled and disabled, I have tested with latest offical firm.

Please another with this configuration is working fine?

I'm afraid you are not alone, I have the same problem too!

It seems that the DVB-T tuner barely works if you just view one DVB-T channel (some freeze from time to time) but if you do anything on the box (record same DVB-T channel or another DVB-S channel, transfer from disk to network, etc. etc.) it start working very bad that it's unusable.

So far all the people that have a DVB-T tuner I was able to contact have the same problem.

Conclusion: DVB-T does not work!

Hopefully it's a software error that will be fixed...hopefully soon!

We have lots to hope!

Anyone got DVB-T working fine as DVB-S2? ...I doubt

P.S.: I doubt this has anything to do with the hard disk

From DGStation Developer's forum:
Hello,

We found H/W problem on initial DVB-T/C board.
If you have this version, you can see jerky frequently.
We've send modification instruction guide to dealer.
Please contact shop where you buy it.

Regards.

I've sent two email to my dealer but still havn't received any response!

It appear that all DVB-T/C tuner are faulty, a new version of the tuner has not been commercialized yet, here are the latest news from the producer's (DGStation) forum:

We are sorry for faulty DVB-C/T module on initial H/W version.

@starbuck
If you don't have a wire, i think you have a faulty module.
We have a same problem(freezing picture) with faulty module.

@MikeTv
We've made new tuner version. But not saled yet.

@SatRider
We will notice to our dealer again.

I know it's more clear open modification notes. Because user can try to fix it by yourself.
But if user try to fix faulty module and fail, hard to repair it again.
So I recommend contact to shop where you buy it.

Regards.

Did anyone got some answer from a dealer??

Is there any update to this? I've just received and installed DVB-T after checking with the supplier that it is not a 'faulty' one but I have been sent an unmodified Rev. A. and it is jerky.

Bit stuck now :(
