KabelBW takes ARD HD showcase
The German cable operator KabelBW today said it will distribute the ARD HD showcase on Eins Festival this Easter weekend. The channel will broadcast 75 hours worth of HD programming starting Good Friday, March 21, including the BBC series ‘Planet Earth’. “This shows that we are best prepared for new technologies,” said Uwe Bärmann, technical director at Kabel BW, “We also have the largest offer of HD channels in the country.” KabelBW currently distributes six HD channels – Anixe HD, Campus HD, Luxe.tv, HD1 and the premium channels Premiere HD and Discovery HD – on its network.
