the procedure
Any of you who are interested in setting up Virtual satellites for you Echolink can try the following:
Go to <menu> -> <Installation> -> <Satellite List> -> <Add> -> Enter details - Name & Longitude -> <Save> -> <Exit>
Exit "Satellite List" and go to TP List.
Select your new Virtual Sat.
Use <Add> to add new transponders to the new Virtual Sat. You can find some details below, or more on Lyngsat.
When you've entered the TP Frequency, Symbol rate, and Polarity, exit and save without scanning.
Once you've entered all the transponders, go back to <Installation> -> <Single Search>
Select your Virtual Sat and do a PRESET SCAN. Do not do a Network Scan, as this will defeat the whole purpose of the exercise.
Check the new channels against Lyngsat, deleting any you don't want in your package.
