I have Just got this receiver and am using it with the standard sky mini dish, I have done a seach for channels and got about 30 FTA and Loads of encrypted chaneals. I have updated my firmware using the usb and a pendrive and edited the channels on my computer using the same method.
What i want to know is can i unenrypeted the channels so i can watch them and how do i go about doing it.
after reading all the posts i think it can be done by the usb port and a pen drive but i dont know what i need to upload to the receiver.
Can some one please give me a step by step on what i need to do and what files i need to up load to the box.
I dont want to get a bigger dish at the moment or point the one i have at another satalite (the wife will shout at me if she cant watch sky lol.) I just want to play with the set up i have then when i know what i am doing i will upgrade the dish. (Will hide the wifes boxing gloves 1st :nana: )
