Thank you Freddy;)...Sure does make an expensive box for us feed hunters in NA if it wont do 4:2:2...Word is it will not do 16 or 32 APSK also...Hard to justify the price just for this box at this point when the only benefit is 4k.

Any Linux Enigma2 receiver is capable of doing 4:2:2 transmissions as long as you stream it to a PC/laptop through the WEBIF using VLC, But i know what you mean it would be nice to have such a feature built into the receiver itself without the need for using external viewing sources.

Dont forget the Vu+ 4K is not just 4K it also has FBC satellite tuners and runs an ARM based BCM/CPU combination chipset which until is fully utilised no one knows its possibilities it is after all only just released

Yes. 30 Mbit satellite stream, too easy. Even more even.

If you receive support, 4K satellite equipment 4;2;2 can decode. ( H.264&4;2;2 )

So, capabilities are hardware. Software support required.
