Do you need to use a USB thumb drive or a USB hard drive when using XBMC to have somewhere to buffer any live streaming and if so can someone please give me a bit of info on how to set it up please.

anyone knows how to make the superstreams addons work on the VU+? I have it working on the PC, i've installed the same zip on the vu+, it loads but then the channels do not start (first a < on the top left of the screen then appears END). Anyone can try to see if general or my problem?
