Decoding problems MGcamd

Got the duo2 yesterday, after using a standard box for a year or so, after the IP9000HD as I had before died.

I have installed the latest blackhole 2.0.5 image on the Duo2, and I have a 2.5 hdd connected to the esata plug.

So I'm a bit rusty at this, in addition to this being a new box.

I can't get it to decode the channels I subscribe on. I know the rest of the setup works as free to air works fine.

The card I have is a conax card and I have installed mgcamd 1.38c and 1.3.6 (1.35c?).

Got the last one from here: mgcamd how to
I manly used the files downloaded from here.

I have set it to 1.35c (1.3.6) on the duo2, so that isn't the problem.

As the guide says, I entered the following while logged in with telnet:

Code:
echo >/usr/keys/newcamd.list CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
echo ****/usr/keys/newcamd.list CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
echo ****/usr/keys/newcamd.list CWS = 192.168.1.100 20000 username password 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardsrv
echo ****/usr/keys/mg_cfg “G: { 01 }”
echo ****/usr/keys/mg_cfg “P: { 00 }”

I tried to use different ips, both 172.16.1.1:28007, localhost:20000 and also local ip of the duo2 in my network.

Not certain what ip or port to use, but I think I remember that 176.16.1.1 is a local ip. Usually that is 127.0.0.1 which I haven't tried.

The mgcamd.log reads:

Code:

I have also considered oscam, but as I don't even know the version I need to install to the duo2.

I have installed and use oscam before on the IP9000HD using enigma2, but all I remember was that it was as struggle to get to work, and that enigma2 was too unstable on the IP9000HD so I got rid of it.

Any suggestions?

first run newcs or other server for conax card and after run mgcamd
mgcamd only client , not server/client

Hm, was not aware that others had responded. Usally get an email if other respond to thread.

Thanks to great help from Andres66 I have managed to get it to decode with Oscam.

There are a few problems however.

BBC Knowledge is silent until I change language, to Hungarian, and then back to English again.

Discovery HD showcase does not decode, and BBC Entertainment (and not Knowledge as I wrote to Andres66) will cause the Duo2 to crash after about 3-5 seconds.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
