Lottery double for couple
A couple from Nevada who won £5,000 on the lottery bought another ticket with their winnings and won nearly £8million.
Barbara Salzman said: "It took me hours before I believed it. It still probably has not sunk in, but we don't really expect huge changes in our life.
"We plan to give our daughter her first house and help our son start his computer company. We'll give some money to charity and pay off our house."
According to the Mirror, her husband Barry added: "Of course I don't believe it... I just don't believe it happened."
The couple had bought a ticket for the Arizona Lottery's famous Power ball game.
Barry had bought the first winning ticket at a cafe in northern Arizona two weeks ago, but bad weather prevented him from collecting the cash.
When they traveled to the Arizona Lottery office in Phoenix for their prize they bought the new $5 ticket - with the numbers 10, 19, 26, 27, 32, and a Power ball of 14 - which scooped a $15million jackpot.
