mgcamd

Hi all,

I've switched from a dM500s which used cccam to an openbox hd. No idea what type. Small and black and very cheap copy chinese looking

Loaded my cccam.cfg file and all worked well.

Have now changed my provider and received newcamd.list amd mg_cfg files.

Uploaded to box using usb stick. Only the newcamd.list file gets transferred for some reason.

Does not decrypt.

Have transferred file over using STBHD_LAN_MM. Again, only the newcamd.list file transfers.

When I look at the file from within openbox user interface the login username info from my provider does not show up at the bottom of the file. Only the two first lines appear with the CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 12000

Anyone have any ideas why it does not decrypt?

I set up a DM800se HD with newcamd and same provider (different account) and all worked fine.

I've made some progress. One step forward.

I edited the newcamd.list from within openbox and added the share server details.

Does not decrypt though.

Should I somehow de-activatev the cccam info I was previously using and somehow activate mgcamd?

All good fun on a Boxing day evening......
